The big news this week is that we have been allocated a specific stand for Pins & Needles. L1 is apparently a prime location. So don’t forget to pop by and say hi. We’re really looking to seeing faces old and new. Here’s a link for more info: http://www.initialj.co.uk/
We have re-scheduled the Rose Heart Cushion and/or the co-ordinating table topper for March 5th. Have a peep at these beauties. Please contact us if you would like to book this workshop.
Eileen Blood has very kindly sent us some of her newly released patterns. As usual Eileen’s designs are lovely and these two are no exception. You can view her full range of designs here: http://originaldesignsbyeileenblood.co.uk/default.aspx
We have these scrumptious fat quarter bundles by Lecien and Benartex.
We’ve also received a shipment of Warm & Natural Wadding. This is one of our favourite wadding. This wadding gives wonderful results for both machine and longarm quilting.
We have received a report on the GO! Apple core shapes. By all accounts it’s a success. Each apple core shape is notched which makes the shapes easier to match and the piecing a breeze. As this test has been a success we have decided to offer kits. For info on this or any other project listed, please do not hesitate to contact us at 0191 268 8144.
And our tip of the week, if you’re struggling with your rotary cutting jobs perhaps you need a new blade. Remember that a dull rotary cutter blade not only makes the job more difficult but can also be even more dangerous. So treat yourself and your cutter to a new blade.
We’re all working hard at making our stand at Pins & Needles a success. We hope to bring you some interesting new projects and ideas. Our beloved Carol, who is our very creative and talented leader, will be running a workshop every morning at 10:30. She has a lovely project planned that is suited to all abilities. So don’t forget to book yourself in soon to avoid disappointment.
Tune in again soon to see what’s new and exciting around the shop.
