Saturday January 10th. Sewing Bag.
A lovely ‘sewing ‘ bag (lots of other uses too! ) with a quilted outer, gathered side panels and a variety of pockets inside. A chance to use lots of coordinating fabrics. See the project instore.
Saturday January 17th. Foundation Piecing/Kimono Hanging.
Another chance to do Elaine’s lovely hanging. You can also learn to do Foundation piecing on a variety of blocks. A popular class.
Saturday January 24th. Stitchery Roll.
A beautifully designed roll to store your blocks in progress or stitcheries. The outer flap is stitched or appliqued. The stitchery can be done in advance. Call for details.
Saturday January 31st. Basic Embroidery & Cushion.
Learn some basic embroidery stitches and go home with a beautiful pillow. No previous stitching knowledge required.
Saturday February 7th. Paper Piecing for Beginners.
Learn the Paper piecing method of patchwork. This class is for hand stitching – no machines required!
Saturday February 14th. Patchwork cushions.
Need some new cushions? Choose from two designs, or do both! One design is based on foundation work and the other is a beautiful ribbon-effect design.
Saturday 21st February. Cathedral Window.
In this class you will learn the basic technique for Cathedral Window. These can be applied to a variety of projects.
Saturday 28th February. Appliquik applique.
A new approach to applique using the Appliquik tool range. Call the shop for full details.
Saturday March 7th. The Segment Bag.
This is a lovely, unusual bag. Make it in gentle, soft colours like Japanese Taupes or go fullout for contrast.
Saturday March 14th. Simple Log Cabin.
There are many methods to produce a Log Cabin block. The method used in this class is simple and accurate. Sounds good!
All workshops are £22 with a £10 deposit payable on booking. Classes are 10 – 4pm unless stated otherwise.
